Need an adapter?

How to Determine Which Adapter you need?

To determine which adapter you need, start by identifying the thread size of your tap’s existing aerator.

01

Remove Your Tap Aerator

Most taps come with an aerator. To check the thread size, simply unscrew it. Aerators are usually one of two types: external or internal.

02

Identify the Thread Type

Once unscrewed, your aerator will be either:

• Female (F) – The threading is on the inside of the aerator.

• Male (M) – The threading is on the outside of the aerator.

03

Measure the Diameter of Your Aerator

Male (M) Thread– Measure across the outer edges of the aerator.

Female (F) Thread– Measure across the inner edges of the aerator.
