I'm having trouble removing my sink's aerator.

Most standard sink aerators can be twisted off by hand.

 

If it’s a little tight, you can use a wrench or a pair of pliers to help remove it.

 

Still stuck? No worries — just send us a photo of your tap and aerator. We’ll happily walk you through alternative options to remove it.

How do I clean my PuraHome filter?

To maintain filtration efficiency and extend the life of your PuraHome filter, periodic cleaning is recommended using the sandpaper method:

  1. Remove the filter from the unit and rinse it under cold running water.
  2. Using the fine-grit sandpaper provided, gently scrub the surface of the filter to remove any accumulated impurities.
    3. Rinse thoroughly before reinstalling the filter.


Cleaning the filter helps maintain consistent water flow and prolongs its lifespan, ensuring continued protection against contaminants.

Can PuraHome filter hot water?

No, PuraHome is designed for cold and room temperature water only. Using hot water with the filter can reduce its effectiveness and potentially shorten the lifespan of the filtration system.

 

To maintain optimal performance, ensure that only cold or lukewarm water is used with the unit. If you are using hot water, make sure you set it to the tap water setting.

If you’re not happy or don’t find the filter useful — even if your tap water is already clean — just email us within 30 days. We’ll take care of your return and refund immediately. Your satisfaction is our priority!
